The terrible twos are setting it.
Rosalie has been a pretty good toddler. I've used 1-2-3 Magic for the longest time, a pretty scaled back version. Suddenly she has become a hell beast. Today, she was playing Monkey Preschool Lunchbox on my iPod as I was putting makeup on. She walked behind me and tossed my iPod into the toilet! She has never done anything like that before. I hear a clunk and she says "uh oh game!" and I see her staring into the toilet. I can see the bubbles coming out of it and the stupid game is still flashing.
I dug it out (gross) and put it in a bag of dried rice right away. After a few days, voila! It actually works!
(she is still a monster though) SIGH
And Days Go By...

I bought her bubble bath today for the first time (took forever to find organic bubble bath) and she loved it! She has also gone into Papa's hot tub and she loves that too (we turn the temp down). We want her getting used to the water. I don't want her to be afraid like I am.
The bubbles seem to make her want to swim for some reason so she really started splashing and flopping around the tub, pretending to swim. So cute!

Today we had our first serious weather scare! There was a tornado that touched down in Dexter not far from where we live. Tonight the sirens were going off, they were warning people to take cover. Jeremy saw a funnel cloud from our patio. Rosalie and I hunkered down in the lowest place in our apartment. This is a picture of her watching Dora (shocker) in the small landing at the bottom of the stairs by the garage door. Luckily, it blew over after about an hour with no concerns in our area. Dexter had about 100 homes damaged though!

After returning from a weekend trip to Chicago for Ethan's baptism, Rosalie came down with another bout of stomach flu. This was her second in a little over a month. She has thrown up so much this year that she will now throw up in a trash can instead of in her crib. She hangs over the side :( Sad baby!
Here she is trying to get comfy, watching Dora:

We started to get some unseasonably warm weather this spring. This is one of our first trips to the park. She loves the park. Thanks to Dora, she calls it "El parque"! She is a climber. She can climb the rock wall on the big kid's structure almost entirely by herself (I follow behind carefully) and can pull herself up the tunnels with her hands. She has become such a big girl!
